EA FC 27 players just found a new bikini glitch that leaves female players

EA FC 27 hasn’t even fully released yet, but players have already found some truly bizarre bugs. While bugs are notoriously common at the start of a new EA Sports game, we’ve never seen something quite like this across any of the developer’s franchises.

A new bug in EA FC 27 sees female players appear in a bikini in-game. This doesn’t appear to be a one-off incident, as multiple players have reported seeing some of their female players in the locker room and on the pitch wearing nothing but their undergarments. EA Sports can take a while to fix bugs, but this is one the devs might want to prioritize quickly in EA FC 27.

New Bug In EA FC 27 Exposes Female Players

At the time of writing, it’s completely unclear what might be causing this strange issue. However, with several players reporting it, EA Sports may want to fix the bug before the full launch of EA FC 27 on September 25. Right now, only players with early access are experiencing the “bikini glitch” with female players.

This bug was first popularized by a couple of Reddit posts. User MereDaaruChadhGi posted the intro sequence to an FC Ultimate Team match, and right before the camera cuts to a shot of the pitch, we see inside one of the team’s locker rooms. Everything seems normal until we see one female player wearing nothing but her undergarments.

It’s brief, but you can clearly see one player in the back of the locker room wearing what looks like a bikini. This is even stranger when you see every other player in full uniform.

To make matters even weirder, another user posted a screenshot of one of their female players or coaches celebrating with the team in the same bikini as the one we see in the video. So not only does the bug appear in the locker room, but it looks like female players can make it onto the pitch without any clothes.

Clearly, this bug exposes EA Sports to all sorts of negative backlash online. This potential backlash is also amplified by the fact that this only seems to be happening to female players, as no EA FC 27 user has reported a male player appearing in just their boxers out on the pitch.

We’ll have to see if EA Sports responds to this bug and how long it takes to issue a patch to fix it. Fortunately, this bug didn’t factor into our review of EA FC 27.
