Best FC 27 graphics settings for no lag and max FPS

FC 27 is now officially out on PC, and there are a fair number of settings to tweak to get the best possible results. This year, EA Sports has added few new settings to give better controls to PC players. Getting the best possible values will help you run the game in a more optimized fashion.

Best FC 27 graphics settings

Before I recommend the settings, here’s a quick summary of my PC.

• 32 GB of DDR4 RAM
• AMD Radeon 9060XT 16 GB
• AMD Ryzen 7 5700X

My specifications comfortably meet the Recommended requirements, and I didn’t need to make too many changes. However, your PC might be underpowered by today’s means. For this guide, I have focused on devices that are on the lower end of the spectrum.

• Performance Preset: Custom, since we are going in with our own settings.
• Display Mode: Borderless. If you have a single screen, you can opt for Fullscreen.
• Frame Rate Limiter: On
• Frame Rate Limit: 60 FPS if your device is getting stutters/120 FPS if your PC can handle the higher frames per second.
• VSync: Off. Turn this on only when you’re getting plenty of stutters in online games.
• Cutscene Performance: Personal preference.
• Render Scale: 100. Reducing this gives extremely watered-down visuals so it’s a no.
• Dynamic Resolution Scaling: On
• Dynamic Resolution FPS Target: 60
• Graphics Preset: Custom
• Rendering Quality: Medium
• Grass Quality: Low
• Crowd Quality: Low
• Cloth Quality: Medium
• Lighting Quality: Low
• Ambient Occlusion Quality: Low
• Effects Quality: Medium. Turn this down if you encounter lag.
• Strand-Based Hair: Off
• 3D Goal Nets: On
• Terrain Quality: Low
• Terrain Decoration Quality: Low
• Motion Blur: Off
• Enhanced Ultra Visuals: Off

Thanks to the higher number of settings this year, I could make more personal choices while running the game on my PC. It remains to be seen how EA Sports manages to make FC 27 smoother on PC if they continue with previous year’s trends of regular title updates.
