Football’s annual appointment with the gaming calendar has arrived, and EA SPORTS FC 27 is ready to take over evenings, weekends and more than a few friendships.
The Ultimate Edition is available now for £99.99, while the Standard Edition launches on September 25th for £69.99. The latest entry arrives on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, with Play Anywhere support on Xbox and PC.

A Bigger Football Playground
EA SPORTS FC 27 isn’t simply about stepping onto a traditional pitch. The Grounds provides a social football playground where players can enjoy Kickabouts, 1v1 matches and Clubs sessions with friends. It is designed to bring together the more casual and competitive sides of football, while allowing players to develop their skills and express themselves away from the main stadiums.
That wider sense of progression also extends to the gameplay itself. FC 27 introduces more fluid, realistic football with dynamic corners, improved attacking awareness and player-focused defending designed around competitive play. The aim is to give matches greater control without losing the unpredictable moments that tend to turn a comfortable 2-0 lead into a frantic final ten minutes.
Career Mode Gets Down To Business
Manager Career receives a rebuilt Transfer Market, complete with more realistic player values and active bidding between clubs. New negotiation options, including performance and buy-back clauses, add extra considerations when deciding whether to spend big on the next superstar or gamble on developing a future first-team regular.
Dynamic OVR ratings also reflect player form, morale and fitness across clubs, meaning a player’s value and effectiveness can change throughout the season. The Career Dynamic OVR pre-season boost is included with the Ultimate Edition, alongside a five-star senior scout and additional Manager Live Challenge creation slots.
Ultimate Team And The Road Ahead
Ultimate Team introduces the FUT Gallery, giving players a new way to curate their favourite Player Items, increase their Gallery Level and earn rewards while building their club identity.
The Ultimate Edition includes up to seven days of early access, a Season 1 Premium Pass, an FUT Player Evolution slot and 6,000 FC Points distributed over three months, alongside additional FC 26 bonuses and Career content. The Standard Edition, meanwhile, provides the main game and its standard Career and The Grounds content.
