UFC 6 Developers Address Roundhouse Kick Feedback

EA Sports has shared an update on the roundhouse kick issue in UFC 6 after hearing feedback on the Strike Variant changes made in the most recent update. Some of those adjustments will now be rolled back, although players will have to wait a little longer before the changes arrive.

The fixes are scheduled for September 29 with several fighters, including Petr Yan and Cory Sandhagen, getting their roundhouse kicks changed back to the faster variants. Fighters who keep the Heavy Roundhouse will also receive new animation and visual skins designed to give the kick a more technical look.

EA Sports is also changing how broadly the Heavy Roundhouse skin is used, limiting it to fighters with noticeably below-average kick speed rather than applying it across a wider group of the roster.

There is another UFC 6 update coming on September 24, but these roundhouse kick adjustments will not be included. The development team said it needs a few more days to properly implement the changes, which is why they are being held for the September 29 update.
